He also renders corporate advisory, deal negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts & agreements, across a broad range of industries and jurisdictions.

Yu Jian is also a firm believer in legal development and raising awareness to both the Bar and society, and to this end he has actively involved himself in talks, seminars, presentations and contributed interviews and/or articles for both the KL Bar, Malaysian Bar and also selected clients on various current legal developments.

Outside of office, he is passionate about animal welfare, football, fantasy football, travelling and considers himself an amateur chef. Does not care whether the cup is half full or empty but rather how the water got there. Also fancies himself a bit of a fashionista (though his wife disagrees).
